General usage information

We now have 17 registered users! With this many people here, there have been several questions asked on how to use this Blog. It is a little cumbersome I admit, but this software was free. So here is some basic “how to” information.

The first thing to remember is that anything posted in this blog is findable by Google and other search engines. This includes finding you by name. This is important to remember when you write something.

The other question asked is how to use this blog. In the lower right corner of this page you will see a login link. Obviously you have to login first in order to write anything. Then you will also see a site admin link in the lower right corner. If you click on that after you log in you will go to the page that lets you start a new blog thread (write something new on a new topic). Everyone on this site has author rights so everyone can start threads. Everyone can also upload files for others to use, but you must put a link in for the others to use it.

Of course you need to only be logged in in order to make comments on the threads that are already started. Have fun everyone, that is what this Blog is all about.

This is the personal web site for Clayton and Joan McKeon. Knowing that both families have been known to have rather strong opinions on most all matters, here is a site to post at your heart's desire anything that you wish. Access to this site will be limited to Family and Friends of both families so you must register and be approved before you will be allowed to post. If I do not get you approved quick enough or if you have any questions about the postings on this blog, email me and I respond right away. rmckeon@macatawa.net
